Welcome to Egypt where you will follow the path of the holy family during their journey in Egypt, and also you will have excursions to Giza Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Nile cruise tour from Luxor to Aswan for 5 days.

Day 1: Cairo arrival
Our representative will receive you at Cairo international airport holding a sign with your name, and then you will be transferred to your Cairo hotel. On your way our representative will explain all the details of you tour package in Cairo. Upon arrival the hotel, he will assist you with the check- in procedures.
Then you will have a free time so you can relax after your flight.
Besides we offer you some optional trips in Cairo such as a River Nile dinner cruise or a trip to Giza pyramids sound and light show.

Day 2: Pyramid and Cairo Tours
Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to visit Giza Pyramids including the great pyramid of Khufu” Cheops” , the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren and the Sphinx. Then move on to the Egyptian museum at Tahrir square housing thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts including the treasures of the boy-king Tut ankh Amun. Lunch will be included at a good quality local restaurant at Cairo.
Then continue to visit Coptic Cairo “Old Cairo” where you will see some very old churches such as the hanging church “suspended Church”. In Coptic Cairo you will watch the holy places where Jesus Christ, Merry and Josef had hidden for sometimes during their holy visit to the land of Egypt. Then continue your visit to Ben Ezra Jewish synagogue (the Jewish temple) where Moses; as it is believed; was found and received by the maid of the queen of Egypt at the basket in the Nile river. Then move on to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Middle East and Africa that was founded in the 14th century AD. Then back to your hotel and overnight in Cairo.

Day 3: Tel Basta & Belbis
After having your breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to start you tour following the steps of the Holy Family Journey in Egypt. your firsYou will have a 100 Km drive to Tel Basta that is located at the Nile Delta and it is the place where Jesus gushed forth a spring of water to drink. So at Tel Basta you will visit the holy well. Then move on to Belbeis city that is located about 55 Kms away from Cairo and it is also the place where the Holy Family made their way and rested in the shade of a tree which came to be called, “The Virgin Mary’s Tree”. At virigin Mary’s tree you will visit Saint George Church. Then you will be back to Cairo. Lunch at Local restaurant and back to your hotel. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 4: Sakha & Samanoud
After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will start your trip to Sakha city that is located about 140 Km North of Cairo. You will visit Virgin Mary Church, the place that was renowned for its Christian community in the Middle Ages, and it is the place where you will also you will see the foot print of Jesus Christ. Then you will be transferred to Samanoud city where the holy family passed by in their way to go inside the Delta and they were also received in a pleasant way by its people. That is why the people of Samanoud city were blessed by Jesus Christ. During your trip at the city you will visit Saint Abanoub Chursh and the holy well where the holy family had drunk from it during their stay in the city. Lunch will be served in a good local restaurant, and then you will move on to Tanta city at the Nile Delta. At the end of the day tour you will be back to Cairo and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 5: Wadi Natroun
After having the breakfast, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Wadi Natroun Ntroun Valley city” that is a desert area and believed to be the place where the holy family crossed by during their way crossing the western branch of the River Nile (Rosetta branch). According to tradition Virgin Mary and her son the child Jesus Christ had hidden for sometime at that valley and Jesus Christ blessed the four directions of the valley. Wadi Al- Natroun is considered one of the most famous valleys in Egypt and it is considered the home of asceticism and worship The place is famous for the Natrun Salt that was found in the place and it was an essential material for the mummification process during the ancient Egyptian era. There were about 50 monasteries in WadiNatrun, only 4 of them have survived into modern times. Begin your trip with Deir al-Baramus (the Monastery of the Romans) which is the most isolated and the oldest as well. Then move on to Deir Al Sorian (the Monastery of the Syrians) and Deir Anba Bishoi (the Monastery of St. Bishoi) whose body is still in the monastery. Lunch will be served during your way back to Cairo. Overnight stay in Cairo.

Day 6: Cairo Churches
After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will be accompanied by your personal guide to visit Cairo churches that are established n the the same spots that the holly family passed by during their journey in Egypt. You will start your tour by Old Cairo zone ” Coptic Cairo” where you will see the Hanging Church ” Suspended Church” and St. Sergius. Then continue to see the Church of St. George as well as the Fortress of Babylon in Old Cairo. Then you will be transferred to Mostorod to see virgin Mary Church and visit the Holy well and Holly Marry tree at Matariya on the outskirts of Cairo. This place used to be a well-attested resting place of the Holy Family and a popular destination among medieval pilgrims. Lunch will be served at a good quality local restaurant in Cairo. Overnight stay in Cairo

Day 7: Minya Tour
After having breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, you will enjoy the holy Family Trip to Upper Egypt (South Egypt). You will start the trip visiting the church of Holy Virgin Mary at Maadi where you will find the book that may be a sign that the Holy Family had passed by that place of the church. The Holy Family travelled in a boat on the Nile from this place in Maadi towards the south (Upper Egypt). So you will be transferred to the South to the city of EL Minya in about 3 hour journey. Upon arrival El Minya you will visit the beautiful church hewn out of the cliff beside the river at Gabal Al-Teir in Minya. Overnight in Minya.

Day 8: Minya – Dandara – Luxor
After having breakfast at your hotel in Minya, you will continue following the route of the Holy family at Upper Egypt through visiting the White Monastery, built in 400 AD by St. Senouda who constructed the monastery using blocks from ancient Egyptian buildings and it has a basilica church inside. The monastery has more over 2000 monks and it also has wonderful paintings on the walls and ceilings. Then move on to the end of the Holy family route at the Monastery of Al Muharraq in Assiut, known as the Monastery of the Holy Virgin at Al Qusiya, and it was built around the area where the Holy Family remained in a cave just over 6 months. The cave became, in the Coptic era, the altar of the Church of Virgin Mary. Then continue your way to Luxor in about 05 hour driving trip. In the way you will stop at Danadara at the north of Luxor to visit Dandara Temple which is known as the Temple of Hathor, goddess of love and joy. Transfer to your hotel in Luxor and Overnight stay in Luxor

Day 9: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours
After breakfast, you will be transferred from your hotel to board your 5 star Egypt Nile cruise to check in. After lunch on board the Nile cruise, you will visit Luxor Temple where you will see the granite statues of Ramsses II and the massive structures for Amenhotep III. Then continue to Karnak Temple, the largest and oldest temple on the east bank of Nile River. The temple is a complex houses 6 great temples devoted to different kings and pharaohs. Everything here is on a gigantic scale. You will marvel at the great hypostyle hall where there is unforgettable forest of 134 gigantic columns. There is nothing to do but to stare up the wonderful spectacle.

Day 10: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions
After breakfast transfer to the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple at El Deir EL Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the ship for lunch & afternoon tea After breakfast on your Nile cruise, take an excursion to the West Bank in Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of the kings of the new kingdom. At the Valley of the Kings there are 62 tombs and each one has a number that represents the order in which it was discovered. Then you will visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahri. Then Proceed to the Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, you will sail to Edfu via the Esna Lock. Dinner on board and Overnight in Edfu.

Day 11: Edfu and KomOmbo Temples
Have you breakfast on board while sailing to Edfu where you will visit the Temple Of Horus, the most intact and well preserved temple in all over the country. After a short trip on a horse drawn carriage you will return to your boat and watch as it departs Edfu en route for Kom Ombo. Lunch on board with afternoon Tea and You will also have some free time at leisure with Afternoon Tea and Captain’s Welcome Cocktail on board the cruise ship. While having dinner on board you will enjoy the Egyptian Galabya party. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 12: Aswan Nile Cruise Tour
After breakfast on the Nile cruise, enjoy a day tour to the high dam of Aswan, constructed in 1970 to control the level of the Nile water during its annual flood and generate big amounts of electric power. Then move on to visit the granite quarry where you will find the huge obelisk for Queen Hatshepsut. Then you will take a motor boat to visit the temple of Philae.

Day 13: Aswan – Train to Cairo
Breakfast on board the cruise then disembarkation from Cruise and then you will free time in Aswan with optional tour to one of Egypt’s top tourist attractions, Abu Simbel temple. If you choose this optional tour so you will have an early start at 3 AM, and then you will be driven to Abu Simbel for about 3 hour drive. Upon arrival you will visit the two massive temples of king Ramses II and his wife at Abu Simbel. Both temples are carved into a mountainside and the entrance of the temple was designed in such a way that on two days of the year the sun would shine into the inner sanctuary and light up the statues inside. Later, you will be transferred to Aswan railway station to board the sleeper train to Cairo. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board – overnight inside your compartment.

Day 14: Cairo Optional Excursions
Breakfast will be aboard the sleeper train before arriving Giza train station. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for free time to freshen up and relax ( you will check into your room as early as possible). You can also choose one of the optional excursions available in Cairo to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser in Sakkara and to visit the ancient city of Memphis. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 15: Cairo – Fly Back Home
After having breakfast our representative will arrive at your hotel to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
