We will give you a taste of Egypt by sailing on board Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise between Luxor and Aswan for 6 nights. You will visit Egypt’s best landmarks such as Giza Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, visiting Karnak Temples, Philae Temple and many more.

Day 1: Cairo arrival
Our representative will receive you at Cairo international airport holding a sign with your name, and then you will be transferred to your Cairo hotel. On your way our representative will explain all the details of you tour package in Cairo. Upon arrival the hotel, he will assist you with the check- in procedures.
Then you will have a free time so you can relax after your flight.
Besides we offer you some optional trips in Cairo such as a River Nile dinner cruise or a trip to Giza pyramids sound and light show.
Welcome Drink
Day 2: Pyramid and Cairo Tours
Your Egyptologist tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to visit Giza Pyramids including the great pyramid of Khufu” Cheops” , the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren and the Sphinx. Then move on to the Egyptian museum at Tahrir square housing thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts including the treasures of the boy-king Tut ankh Amun. Lunch will be included at a good quality local restaurant at Cairo.
Then continue to visit Coptic Cairo “Old Cairo” where you will see some very old churches such as the hanging church “suspended Church”. In Coptic Cairo you will watch the holy places where Jesus Christ, Merry and Josef had hidden for sometimes during their holy visit to the land of Egypt. Then continue your visit to Ben Ezra Jewish synagogue (the Jewish temple) where Moses; as it is believed; was found and received by the maid of the queen of Egypt at the basket in the Nile river. Then move on to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Middle East and Africa that was founded in the 14th century AD. At the bazaar you can buy the souvenirs you wish and also you can drink coffee, tea and any soft drink. At the end of the day tour you will be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor / Nile Cruise Round Trip
In the early morning, you will check out from hotel, and then then transfer to Cairo Airport for a flight with EGYPTAIR to Luxor. Upon arrival you will be met and assisted, and then transferred by an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle to embark Sonesta St. George Nile Cruise. Then you will have your lunch on board before setting sail to Esna. You will also have some free time at leisure with Afternoon Tea and Captain’s Welcome Cocktail on board the cruise ship. Dinner and overnight on board Nile cruise in Esna.

Day 4: Edfu Temple / Sail to Kom Ombo
Have you breakfast on board while sailing to Edfu where you will visit the Temple Of Horus, the most intact and well preserved temple in all over the country. After a short trip on a horse drawn carriage you will return to your boat and watch as it departs Edfu en route for Kom Ombo. Lunch on board with afternoon Tea and You will also have some free time at leisure with Afternoon Tea and Captain’s Welcome Cocktail on board the cruise ship. While having dinner on board you will enjoy the Egyptian Galabya party. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

Day 5: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours
Continue sailing to Aswan while enjoying your Breakfast on board. Then you will be picked up to enjoy a day tour to the high dam of Aswan, constructed in 1970 to control the level of the Nile water during its annual flood and generate big amounts of electric power. Then move on to visit the granite quarry where you will find the huge obelisk for Queen Hatshepsut. Then you will take a motor boat to visit the temple of Philae. Lunch will be served on board the Nile cruise, and then enjoy Sailing on the Nile by felucca boat around the botanical garden. At the end of the day tour you will be back to the cruise for dinner on board with Belly dancing show and the Egyptian folkloric show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 6: Aswan to Abu Simbel Optional Tour
After having breakfast on board your Nile cruise you can choose either having a free time at leisure in Aswan or enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples. The two temples of Abu Simbel were cut into enormous blocks and re-assembled some 65 m higher than the original site during a massive international campaign directed by UNESCO. The Two temples were built by king Ramses II: The larger of the two was mainly dedicated to the god Amun, while the smaller temple was mainly dedicated to the goddess Hathor.
At the end of the day tour you will return to your Nile Cruise in Aswan. While having dinner on board, you will enjoy a Nubian Show. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 7: Sail to Kom Ombo Temple / Sail to Esna
Sail to Kom Ombo while having your breakfast on board, and then enjoy a visit to Kom Ombo temple that is shared by two gods, Sobek and Haeroris. Then back to the Nile Cruise to set sail to Edfu where it will cross the lock, rising 6 meters before it can continue its journey. Dinner and overnight on board in Esna.

Day 8: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursions
Sail to Luxor with breakfast on board your Nile Cruise, then head out to enjoy a guided tour to the West bank of the River Nile where you will visit the Valley of the Kings; the royal necropolis of the kings of the new kingdom where there are 62 tombs. Each tomb has a number representing the order in which it was discovered. You will be allowed to visit 3 of them (the Tomb of Tutankhamen is an extra cost). Then back to the Nile Cruise with lunch, dinner and overnight onboard the cruise in Luxor.

Day 9: Luxor Nile Cruise / Back to Cairo
After breakfast on board, you will disembarke your Nile cruise in Luxor and then you will be accompanied by your tour guide to the East Bank of Luxor where you will visit the magnificent Karnak Temples ( a complex of sanctuaries, colonnades, kiosks, pylons and obelisks dedicated to the triad of Thebes). Then move on to Luxor Temple that has the hall that was converted into a church during the Christian prosecution period. Lunch will be served in a good quality restaurant in Luxor.
Later on you will be transferred to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 10: Cairo / Fly Back Home
After having breakfast our representative will arrive at your hotel to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
