Taste the great history of Egypt through visiting the pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum at Tahrir square, Old Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Nubia and Abu Simbel.
Day 1: Arrive Egypt
Our representative will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and then you will be taken to your hotel in Cairo. The rest of the day is free time, so you can relax after your flight or you can choose any of the optional extras such as a trip to Giza pyramids sound and light show or a River Nile dinner cruise.
Day 2: Cairo’s full day tour
Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to Giza plateau where you will visit Giza Pyramids including the great pyramid of Khufu” Cheops”, the pyramid of Chefren, the pyramid of Mykerinus, the valley temple of Khefren and the Sphinx. Then move on to the Egyptian museum at Tahrir square housing thousands of ancient Egyptian artifacts including the treasures of the boy-king Tut ankh Amun. Lunch will be included at a good quality local restaurant at Cairo. Then continue to visit Coptic Cairo “Old Cairo” where you will see some very old churches such as the hanging church “suspended Church”. In Coptic Cairo you will watch the holy places where Jesus Christ, Merry and Josef had hidden for sometimes during their holy visit to the land of Egypt. Then continue your visit to Ben Ezra Jewish synagogue (the Jewish temple) where Moses; as it is believed; was found and received by the maid of the queen of Egypt at the basket in the Nile river. Then move on to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest markets in Middle East and Africa that was founded in the 14th century AD. At the bazaar you can buy the souvenirs you wish and also you can drink coffee, tea and any soft drink. Later, you will be transferred to Giza railway station to board the sleeper train to Luxor-dinner and breakfast will be served on board. Overnight inside your compartment.

Day 3: Luxor Sightseeing
Arrive at Luxor train station where you will be met and assisted then transferred to enjoy an excursion to the West Bank in Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis of the kings of the new kingdom. At the Valley of the Kings there are 62 tombs and each one has a number that represents the order in which it was discovered. Then you will visit the magnificent Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahri. Then Proceed to the Colossi of Memnon. Then you move to the East Bank of the Nile River to visit Luxor Temple where you will see the granite statues of Ramsses II and the massive structures for Amenhotep III. Then continue to Karnak Temple, the largest and oldest temple on the east bank of Nile River. The temple is a complex houses 6 great temples devoted to different kings and pharaohs. Everything here is on a gigantic scale. You will marvel at the great hypostyle hall where there is unforgettable forest of 134 gigantic columns. There is nothing to do but to stare up the wonderful spectacle. Back to hotel and overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor / Aswan Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan in a 3 hours and half drive from Luxor to Aswan where you will be met and taken to your hotel for check-in. Then enjoy a day tour to the high dam of Aswan, constructed in 1970 to control the level of the Nile water during its annual flood and generate big amounts of electric power. Then move on to visit the granite quarry where you will find the huge obelisk for Queen Hatshepsut. Then you will take a motor boat to visit the temple of Philae. Lunch will be served on board the Nile cruise, and then enjoy Sailing on the Nile by felucca boat around the botanical garden.
At the end of the day tour you will be back to the hotel in Aswan and overnight in the city.

Day 5: Abu Simbel Temples / Train to Cairo
You will have a very early start at 3 AM, and then you will be driven to Abu Simbel for about 3 hour drive. Upon arrival you will visit the two massive temples of king Ramses II and his wife at Abu Simbel. Both temples are carved into a mountainside and the entrance of the temple was designed in such a way that on two days of the year the sun would shine into the inner sanctuary and light up the statues inside. After that you will be transferred to Aswan railway station for departure to Cairo. The sleeping train from Aswan to Cairo is about 14 hours. Overnight on board the train.

Day 6: Back to Cairo
After having your breakfast aboard the sleeper train, you will arrive Giza train station where you will be met and assisted by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel in Cairo for free time at leisure. Notice that you will check into your room as early as possible and there are some optional excursions available such as visiting the Step Pyramid of King Zoser in Sakkara and visiting the ancient city of Memphis. Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.
Day 7: Optional Tour to Alexandria
You can have a free day in Cairo or you can choose the optional trip to the coastal city of Alexandria, the second largest city in Egypt that lays on the coast of the Mediterranean. The city was founded by Alexander the great in 332 BC and remained to be the capital of Egypt for about 1000 years. At Alexandria you will visit the Greco-roman sites and some modern and Islamic sites such as: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Citadel of Qaitbay, Pompey’s Pillar and Serapeum and The Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa.
Day 8 : Cairo / Fly Back Home
After having breakfast our representative will arrive at your hotel to transfer you to Cairo International Airport for your departure flight.
